So ofc we know discord formatting as i just used here with * * ... * *, i find that this feature is missing in the welcome screen. What do i mean by that. Whenever you get invited to a server, you enter a window called a welcome screen, you probably never noticed the text formatting there, its because it cant be there for some reason. Okay, so invite rewards, so they are only against ToS if they lead to spam because they are a good way to get members even though it isn't technically ethical since most people just want the rewards and will just DM everybody which will lead to annoying people but is it possible to limit the spam but also keep invite rewards fair without going overboard with inviting people 🤔

One way is asking me to keep invites limited per person so it won't go overboard 🤔

Discord oversight is also an option

Or get a limited amount of invites for the server where rewards are allowed 🤔

They added the "(un)verify member" option as now Onboarding makes it so Roles no longer bypass Rules Screening and the Server's Verification Level - instead, you have to use this Verify Member option

Previously, when you wanted to have a new Member bypass Rules Screening (Server Settings > Community > Rules Screening) or the Verification Level (Server Settings > Safety Setup), you would have to grant them a Role.

Onboarding typically uses the Server Invite Background you have set for your server - if you don't have an image uploaded for the Server Invite background, I'm not sure if there's a way to modify that backdrop color! Lemme look into it a bit more and see if I can find an answer for ya.

I have a question about Linked Roles. Is it possible to change and move the roles down? After linking them they show as first on top of everything. They used to be a lot further down, but I'm just curious how it's possible to set that one up.

You have no idea how many images it handles correctly, so some examples of ones it handles incorrectly are statistically useless to determine whether "mostly accurate" is correct or not. All it tells you is that it's not 100% accurate, which, obviously it's not.

I'm curious about this question, I asked it yesterday but I feel like the community can answer this question, someone said to me once that invite rewards was against ToS and I know I read it in the TOS that it was against ToS but I know you can find invite rewards servers everywhere but I always think invite rewards is basically another word for mass DM's but you just don't use bots but people so I'm curious if it's actually allowed to use invite rewards because everyone is telling me to use it but on the other hand, I don't want to get in trouble 😦

encouraging people to mass send invites to your server with the promise of a reward is what violates the tos, as it falls under spam and unsolicited messages

it also falls under unsolicited advertisement in dms (just sending an invite link to someone without their consent)

To my knowledge Dota 2 is the default.

It is probably possibly to get rid of Dota 2 then reconnect it to see what happens, but I am not sure if that will do anything.

You can’t add games to VC activities

If you’re looking for the rich presence thing, there’s an event thing that you have to add to your game I believe that communicates with discord to say you’re playing X game

Most games already have it, but some don’t
