Hi, I don't know where to put this but I need some help on my other account...

Here's the deal: So I have another account, my main account, and for me to talk in a server, I need to verify my number. So I go and do that, but Discord says that my number is being used on a different account. So I search up how to find this account using my number and Discord help said to put in your phone number and press "forget password". I do so and I get logged into this account. I don't know how old this account is but I tried to remove my number from this account but there is no "remove phone number" button anywhere on the settings. I pressed the "edit" button beside it, but it requires me to verify my number. I do so, it says my phone number is being used on a different account... I don't know what to do and I really want to chat in this other server 😦

Is there something that really made it click for you? My goal is to strike a balance between an open community and utilize the protection of a bot like Wick but I keep going back and forth on where the permissions are being applied and what is considered "best practice". Having gated areas behind reaction roles for different topics is what's throwing me for a loop, I believe.

To put it simply, the reason why you see the Discord Unable to Load Profile Banner, Badges and About Me bio is because they are not on the same server as you and not your Discord friend as well. Due to this privacy reason, that user’s profile information will be hidden from you.

If you know the person or want to get to know them, you can send them a friend request. Or you can have a common server where both of you are added in. This is when you will be able to load their bio and other information. If not, there is no way or workaround to make it happen. I got rate limited once when I was self hosting the beta version of my bot and it made too many api requests.. Discord wouldn't load at all for my account on all devices, web and mobile for an hour. It's just a thing you gotta deal with once in a while A rate limit isn't like you're in trouble or anything. (It's the same reason why you get disconnected from a dm call on desktop if you're alone for 10 minutes)

Try messing with some audio output settings, discord can sometimes let devi es treat it's audio as a call instead of media, where the vioce on the call as well as reliability is marked more important than other media

Are you on desktop or mobile? If desktop, it's probably that your timezone is set wrong. Even if your PC time is right, Discord bases display time off your time zone. So, if you live in, say, UTC-3 but your computer is set to UTC (and technically set to the wrong time, but it displays correctly because of the wrong time zone), then Discord will show UTC instead of your local time, which would be off by 3 hours.

That's unlikely on mobile, but still possible if you manually set your phone's timezone instead of letting your phone autodetect it from the network

You can't put your actual time bcus the timestamp you're referring to auto converts based on the person looking at it.

If you put 1AM your time, it'll show whatever 1AM time is converted for my time.

Eg. This is 1AM my time <t:1669741200:t> but you're obviously seeing a different time unless we're in the same timezone.
