@subtle granite if an invite says you're banned but they can't find you in bans it usually means that a different account with the same ip as yours was banned from that server
the only ways to "fix" that are either finding that other account and unbanning it, or using a vpn for the purpose of joining the server

i don't know what the heck is with all the misinformation other people told you, but no, stuff like reinstalling discord, searching audit logs, trying on a different device, changing phone number etc. won't help because they're unrelated

if you're able to actually use the invite on another account and the same ip, then there's a small possibility that they can't see you in bans because it doesn't fetch your ban for some reason, in which case they could try unbanning you by id via a bot

my screen was zoomed in even though it was 1080p resolution and i fixed it by changing the scale from 100% to 150% on startup which happened for some reason

1. You can use mobile to cache a message via the in-app reporting in it so even if it's deleted, T&S can still see it.
2. If you report a moderator (or generally just any message really as a non-mod), you will get a response asking you to "bring it up to the server mods/owner" yadda yadda and you can just reply to that email doubling down that it's from the server moderator.
3. Screenshots cannot be considered as evidence.

They won't notify the server mods of your report, they'll just tell you to report it to the mods yourself. Might be part of some internal protocol idk but that's usually a response I get when I report something lol.

You can skip this and just explain that the person you're reporting is one of the mods and other staff members support it/let it happen/encourage it.

You generally can't decide to renew a fresh public IP without specifically requesting it from your ISP. Not all even use DHCP for your public address either. Some do, but DHCP has affinity, so you could renew the same lease regardless. It's not as simple as DHCP on your LAN.

The "professional hacker" thing is a laugh, though. The only thing people could do with your IP realistically is DDOS you, which, yeah, your ISP will likely automatically drop your IP lease and black hole that traffic to keep their own network stable. You'll reset your router, got a new IP and be on your way.

Welp my main discord account got hacked. Literally randomly during the day returned to my computer logged out with a different username to log in again as. My email no longer is recognized to log in, same with "forgot password" says my email isn't recognized. I checked my email inbox, looked through everything and never got an email that my email was changed for discord. I do have 2FA, it is enabled. I've received no text messages. They changed my name, id, profile pic and background pic. I do have Nitro, not sure if they can see my full credit card info. Hey does anyone know how to record audio on a Discord call when im screen recording a voice chat call to a friend? I've tested it out before with OBS Studios, and it can capture the video and the sound effects on the app just fine, but it doesnt capture the Voice call audio when im calling a friend. Your audio output capture is probably set to a different device than the communications device Discord is using. Windows sometimes splits the same physical device into two different outputs, one normal and one "communications" version. That may also contribute to the confusion.

dont copy the message btw, it will come to someone who works for discord in some way, and will have the whole thing deleted. Every account that has sent the message further will be reported if so

It might be spam, but it's because the user was mislead. It's not done with bad intentions.

Does the bot have another role that has this permission? Does the bot have a role with admin permission? Does the channel specific permission grant this?

The bot has its own role provided by the developer. At first, the audit log showed the messages it deleted it, but now it doesn't show anything and still deletes them. The bot isn't admin.

Yes, after a few minutes the messages get deleted without them appearing in the audit log.

The bot is called Charlemagne and it was created to track your progress in Destiny 2.

Can you confirm it’s actually the bot though? Try denying it access to the channel itself (so that it doesn’t appear in the member list on the -> side) and see if the messages still delete (perhaps by another bot)? Audit log can be finicky sometimes and can be unreliable :/

Ah okay, it's not what I was thinking then. I was thinking if it only deleted messages that start with an emote or mention of a channel it might be tied to the bots prefix but no the deletes wouldn't be delayed in that situation.

It only deletes messages that start with it its own command (for example /pvpstatus)

It doesn't delete any other messages, only its commands (/clanstatus, /register, /pvp, etc.)

Ah. Well if it’s only deleting it’s own message, there’s nothing you can do about that. It’s a discord thing where everyone can delete their own messages regardless of manage messages permission, and that means bots as well. The developer must’ve coded it to delete its own message after half an hour
