Guild has about 7k members, and all of a sudden users can't start a stream anymore correctly.
Tho, @ everyone has access to Video-Permission.
The unusual thing is, the can start the stream (which wouldn't be possible without the permission), but it immediately stops after starting the stream.

Does anyone here know a fix?

For example: Say I found a bug in which Discord crashes when I try to upload a GIF as a Server Icon.
My Steps would be

1. Navigate to Server Settings > Overview on a Server you have Permissions to change its icon on & has Boosted to allow animated icons
2. Click on the icon to open file explorer
3. Find a .gif file and upload it
4. Observe that Discord crashes

And my Actual Results would be: "Discord crashes upon uploading a .gif file for a Server's Icon"

I recently got my two main accounts compromised, I was able to recover and secure everything else I had before they got to them but for my discord accounts, the email and password had been changed, and 2FA enabled
I read on discords support that they're unable to manually change the email of accounts, and I'm worried the accounts are unrecoverable, and their email is being really slow rn

One of my friends got his account compromised. The hacker changed his email, which in turn allowed them to change his password, and set up 2FA. After numerous tickets to Discord, they did eventually remove the 2FA and recovered the account for my friend. The chances are slim, but not impossible. Best of luck to you

The help center says they will not render in you unly upload them through the chat bar - > upload. Instead you need to preview them in server settings, stickers, upload.

So @fossil oak this should probably be clarified, you are correct that originally up until like a few months ago you did login into the site using your same username and password as discord, however they changed it to be separate to I believe get around a bug zendesk had where if you changed your discord email you couldn’t login into the site until you changed it back to the original

The token logg could have included a virus that changed the IP's in ur hosts file in your system32

If you go to Local Disk (C:) > Windows > System32 > drivers > etc
There should be a file just called hosts or host
Open that file with notepad and check if you see the Discord website or any other website with a bunch of 0's infront of them

Yeah you have to get rid of the .txt after you saved it on ur desktop

No one likes to snoop around in the Windows System32 files, hence why most people dont know or think about this one, but if you're careful, you can do quite a lot in there

I have a member who, upon leaving my server, came back & claimed he was kicked. I checked audit logs & found no evidence me was & none of my bot have the ability to kick ppl (triple checked). I emailed Discord & they stated that they could find out but they'd need the member to contact them for the info. I asked him to & he said he would, a week later. 3 weeks after the incident, I messaged asking for an update & he said he still hasn't received a response. As of now, over a month & a half after the incident, he's stopped replying to me. If he's in a VC with just me & I ask, he'll suddenly leave, & he replies to others (we have mutual friends) but it's been a month since he's replied to me.
I have other members in my server asking for an update because they are worried they will be randomly kicked by a glitch & I don't know what to do. Honestly it seems highly suspicious to me that he is ignoring just me.

Alright so there’s actually not really a “usually" since they are all case by case and whenever they get to them, that said however support does seem to be faster with refunds so I would give a few days to a week before getting to worried

If you're skeptical about what I said, Cancel your nitro subscription (this will end the Nitro subscription at end of the billing cycle) and then subscribe to nitro basic (basic will start from the day your nitro expires)

Yes, selecting "Copy as Picture", then going through another screen to select "Bitmap" and pasting in Discord does work.. but it's now a few extra steps over the good ol' Copy/Paste which used to work just fine.

I know the Excel "Copy as Picture" functionality has existed, but something between Office/Discord worked without having to hop through the steps and was absolutely awesome. Now it's annoying... I wish there was a good way to find out why. If it's in Excel or Discord to tweak and get it back to how it was.. 😦
