There's a threshold where offline members are no longer displayed - I think it's 1000 members, but I'm not certain if that's the exact number. Sounds like you've hit that threshold though

No, the boost streak is now permanent until your nitro runs out, so it doesn't reset anymore.

I’m noticing that all bots seem to have stopped logging deleted messages now, I can only assume Discord is to blame?

Edited messages are still logged on the 4 bots I tested this on, but not deleted messages. (Tried this on two of my own bots and 2 public bots, Logger and Unblievaboat).

I really hope this is just a bug, otherwise it’s the stupidest move Discord has made yet. My staff and I cannot sit in all our channels all day watching for bad messages. Currently all one has to do is delete their message to avoid getting caught. This is just plain stupid. I don’t know of any decent community that doesn’t have deleted message logs.

After a while, they sent me a message telling me that I have to reply if I am still experiencing the issue, but the problem is I saw it almost one month later. The bot replied saying they have recieved my message, but I recieved another email which said "Please Read: This email address is not currently supported" and "We're currently only accepting submissions through our Support form". What should I do?

Usually whenever you're on a server that is terminated by Discord, all on it will receive a warning / strike (whatever they are officially reffered to) through a system message and email.

it's an HTTP bot, a different kind of bot that only works with slash commands and buttons. they don't have any status but show up in the online member list as a way to say "this bot is alive!"

I know this has been answered already, but now that I have it working and can show an example, I want to triple-check that this doesn't violate anything

the tot command has a 12 hour cooldown. There are 150 different responses, ranging from free bot currency to cute or not-so-cute images (lol, its called trick or treat for a reason). With an extremely low chance of winning Discord Nitro as per the image below. The only way I can give the nitro is if they reach out to me to claim it. I could make the bot DM the nitro gift but I don't want to pre-buy the Nitro and hard code them. So the only way I can give them the prize is if they join the support server, open a ModMail ticket and then I buy and give them the code; allowing them to leave the server afterward.

I just don't want my bot to be treated like the countless fake nitro bots that get disabled, nor am I using giveaways as a means to get members in a server; it's purely to give the prize and let them stay or leave at their own discretion.

(Also for those wondering, I used the tot command 353 times before I was able to actually win during my test, so the odds are low - especially if the command will have a 12 hour cooldown under normal conditions)

Forgot to also mention that regular users cannot use the tot command unless they opt-in to creating a bot profile. So.. only users which are willing to want to win something will need to opt-in by themselves. It also doesn't DM anybody (which I believe 99.9% of the fake/scam bots do). So I guess only the people who are aware of the event and what they can potentially win will be the ones trying to win it. As I said, I am more worried about complying with Discord's TOS over anything else.

I've been using HepBoat for so long that I have gotten so used to using it.. I couldn't imagine running a server without it I do really recommend it (you can pay for access, but if you don't wanna pay for a Discord Bot, that's okay too )

Unlike bots like MEE6, Carl-bot, Dyno etc etc etc, HepBoat doesn't have "toggles" that you just click to enable/disable, you more or less program it yourself using the YAML config editor provided as its dashboard. I believe RowBoat did the same when it was around. RowBoat was only ever in Discord Official Servers and some Partnered Servers when it was in service. I believe Discord use a custom version of GearBot now, named GearBoat.

Also, to counter the positives, I guess the downside to it is that RowBoat was programmed with Python2 and Disco; which means both Aperture and HepBoat are still using that old codebase :x (I don't know any other RowBoat Clones. I know Zeppelin does all this with YAML but I don't think it's a clone of RowBoat)

Notifications still show up in do not disturb but you shouldn’t get a ping or vibration. They should be hidden until you select show unread notifications on your Lock Screen. You can optional setup a custom focus or change the settings for do not disturb in the settings app. If you want it never show discord notifications, you can disable them by looking up Discord in the settings app and disabling it there.

@oblique roost @azure mason oh I understand what you said now. So as far as I know, premium membership isn't released yet and is only given to some chosen community so you can't get it for now. If you can see the channel at the top when you're viewing the server as "x role", that's a bug. You can report bugs at https://dis.gd/bugreport

There is no way to set a limit for maximum members, you can now only stop the invites so people can't join your server until it is turned off

i have a server that i'm helping to moderate. on the mobile client, upon invite, it says "done reading? check out other channels" at the bottom of chat screen. then that can be clicked on, and the list of channels are shown, the other channels can be selected and read, but still, the message remains. but it doesn't allow you to type. I do not have it set up so that a role is required to type. i think that this is a known bug. what's the easiest workaround?

Sounds like you have a role that’s preventing people from typing, which is why the channel is read only

It's possible to use User IDs to figure out account creation dates without use of Bots, since Discord uses Twitter's Snowflakes system for creating their IDs

As such, there are plenty of sites out there for snowflake date calculation. :)

so there's some weird things happening only on the canary client:

• i am unable to call this specific person. if i control+r i get the disconnection sound and dms just dont load unless i click out and back in. it doesnt say there's a call at all. clicking the call button at the top right does literally nothing. the call button does show up when i right click, but clicking it does nothing and it disappears right after.

• the icon says i have an unread ping, but it's nowhere to be found, and doesnt even exist

• clyde tells me people have blocked me, when they are still in my friend list

i have straight up uninstalled the canary client and reinstalled it, restarted my pc, and even tried canary.discord.com and the issue persists on both. however, stable version of discord and mobile (testflight) works just fine 🤷‍♂️ i think updating while in call broke something

or... it could just be a weird windows 11 bug.. i did just update win 11 today too.......

Mobile: tap someone’s profile, then tap the three dots in the upper right corner of the profile card.
If you don’t see the copy ID function then you need to enable it through User Settings > Advanced > Developer mode, or User Settings > Appearance > Developer Mode on mobile
