Basically what deleting your temp files does, is that it deletes any currently running process progress as well. Like for example. If you are downloading a game on epic games and you delete your temp folder, that will potentially harm the installation as some files of the installation are stored on the cache as temporary files. Don't believe everything on the internet. I'm repeating myself

I'll give you an example. There is a sort of macro tool called autohotkey which is a trusted application. It uses a file type .ahk
All these paid antiviruses ain't gonna recognise this file type and instantly quarantine it and you would have to go to the setting and make an exception for each unique file type

Apparently this problem of games not resuming downloads after a system restart is Epic games problem. I do it with other launchers fine, but not all launchers do the same thing.

You can't put individual applications at fault for not resuming their processes after a system reboot. Often these temp folders also contain data that is required for faster open up time for applications. When you erase that data, it has to rewrite it all which will put an extra load on the system. What you are saying is correct that windows will throw an error when you try to modify any file related to a running process but that doesn't relate to my point.

They do contain data that can be used by applications but it's not specifically for faster startup times, you're mixing things now. Temp files are created when the software isn't able to allocate enough memory for the tasks and needs to process. They store certain configurations and cached data. If you delete the file that an application expects to find after a reboot (to complete a setup or download) the program may not be able to complete the task and that's what you're talking about. It has nothing to do with how quick a program runs or any of that. Hope that clears the confusion.

i got to say that laptops have definitely gotten significantly better over the past few years, i had a 2018 MSI GF63 laptop which was terrible, mainly because it was a full metal frame that would heat up as the GPU heated up, but also had a slow HDD and a gtx 1050 with no air flow and ddr4 2666 MHZ. I might be able to find a photo of the laptop where the GPU got above 90c

that hard drive that ran at 10MB/s wasn't raid, wasn't flashy, and actually ran so slow, it corrupted a windows update and I had to reinstall windows on it.

The RTX 2080ti was used as it was my dad's old graphics card so its out of warranty, it also wouldve cost 3600 at the time i built the desktop, but thats gone down to 900 now (my dad is an illustrator and currently has a 3060ti for fast rendering) also the laptop i now use was only supposed to be a cheap laptop while im at university but ended up having one of the best laptop CPUs

Here's a tip, don't let freddy of foxy move. Keep your camera on the back stage and occasionally check on foxy. You most likely will not need to check on him if you go onto the cameras every 10 seconds because every time you go onto the cameras, regardless of which camera you are on, foxy cannot move. Freddy can only move when you are not looking at him which is why you should be watching him. You don't need the cameras for bonnie or chica. This will most likely help.

Forgot to mention, if Freddy somehow manages to get to the east hall corner, close the door and don't go onto the east hall camera until you hear laughter again. If you watch him while he's in the east hall corner (that's when he can kill you), he won't be able to move. Also once he reaches the east hall, he will move back and forth between the east hall and the east hall corner.
