that was just me being stupid by opening multiple tabs to get a high memory usage. this happens without opera being open as well. and the problem with discord not closing properly has kept happening after restarting as well. after closing it, it has a high cpu usage even though when i open it again that process just remains there and another one starts. it still takes long to open up discord. so idk what that process is doing that it takes up so much of my cpu usage

my problem isnt that the cpu usage is high, its that when i close discord with alt f4, ( i have minimise to tray turned off) discord doesnt close and remains open in the background with abnormally high cpu usage(the image shows what the cpu usage is usually like). When i open discord again, it doesnt open quickly (as it would when you have minmise to tray turned on). When i do open discord again, it opens a completely new process and when i end the original process, the newly opened discord runs just fine

I think there was a setting to allow discord to stay open in the background if you click the x to close it. (I may be wrong and mixing things up I can't find the setting on my mobile but maybe it's different on PC I can't try at the moment). If you can find that setting maybe disable it maybe it's a bug with that
