the main narrative for the amv is that this boy(who turns out to be a closet bigot) falls absolutely in love with a nonbinary(not that he knows that at first) person called Vivi, and tries to get them to love him back. things get more extreme when it turns out Vivi has a mixed-race girlfriend, called Dragonfly. after he sees vivi at a pride with dragonfly, the former holding an NB flag, the MC spirals into extremely hateful thoughts(vivi is mentally broken for being NB, dragonfly is manipulating vivi to satisfy her own desires, dragonfly made vivi nb in the first place, eventually to dragonfly's race is grooming the youth to control them) and eventually assaults dragonfly in front of vivi in broad daylight, which hospitalizes the former. MC is arrested and jailed. this is all shown in MC's point of view-dragonfly is made to look rigid and evil looking, vivi is made to look small and vulnerable, and MC is given lots of contrast to the background colour(which mirrors a lot of vivi and dragonfly's colours) to show how he sees himself as being able to "see through dragonfly's lies". the police apprehending him are shown as a mass of hands dragging MC away from vivi.
