I got the idea recently to build my own 3d printer(i've never had one) i'm completely new to this stuff. I gathered some stuff with mostly just ai and i don't know if these are good or bad, but i just want to know if these parts can be even put together. I already have 3 of the nema 17 stepper motors, controller for them, an arduino, a raspbeery pi 5 and a 12volt 30amp power supply.
I know its a really bad kit but i have never tried to make anything this complicated. Also, I’m planning to build the frame out of wood/MDF. I’m thinking of a Prusa i3 style layout, but since I’m completely new to this, I’m not sure how to correctly mount the smooth rods and lead screws to the frame so the carriages can move freely. If anyone has a simple frame diagram, CAD model, or DIY build guide that would fit these parts, I’d really appreciate the help!

P.S. I'm also aware that I don't have a heated bed or build plate yet, so any budget-friendly suggestions for that would be awesome as well!

You could build with the parts you have but the mainboard i'd probably consider something different for saftey and speed reasons.
The v6 is ok (12mm\s), but consider it old at this point so a tz v6 (30mm\s) is probably more what you want....

Design wise, maybe build something like kappy by rolohaun first? It's aimed at beginners and will allow you to get a diy built and learn + fix the problems you'll encounter.
You'll also possibly need more tools...so don't forget to budget for that. bulbasmile
It also helps to have a printer first to print out all the part you'd need to build it....but you can also commission that to a pro t buissnes (but it might cost more to do so!)
