Print Failing odd Noises Stringy filament | 3D Printing | Page 1

Hi everyone I’m new to printing so please bear with me!

I have a print I’ve tried to make 2 times now I’ve ended up having to pull the plug on twice, essentially near the halfway point there is a large amount of stringy filament that appears to be getting dragged and pulled around the print causing a loud noise if the needle catches and weirdly the nozzle seems to be printing completely off the layers at some points. It’s making loud noises as it rises in to thin air and I’m just very confused.

I have no clue what could be going on here so any help is appreciated I’ll attach a photo but I only really have one since I left gotvwirkbin a hurry.

For reference I have a elegoo Neptune 4 : )

Also has filament been dried in the last week or so? What kind...?
