New printer came in today and I put it through the benchy test. IT MADE ONE WITHOUT ANY SUPPORTS AND I AM LOSING MY MIND OVER IT

Isn't every benchy supportless?

#

What printer though?

raw maple
#

Nah my old ender 3 required supports

#

And it's an adventurer 5m pro

Usually if overhangs fail on a benchy there's something wrong with the print settings

It was actually on the printer's default files already which was surprising

humble arch
#

legally distinct benchy haha

raw maple

Right cuz I was like "hey, smth looks a tad off about this benchy but idk what"

humble arch
#

it's uncanny

#

its like

almost right

Playing a game of spot the difference frfr

when you say 'supports', what manner of supports did your ender 3 need for the benchy?

#

like support for the overhangs, or a brim on the build plate?

raw maple

Supports for overhang

humble arch
#

I seeee

raw maple

Brim was fine

yeah benchy's are designed to be printed without supports, so if something fails on it it gives you an idea of what to troubleshoot in your settings

raw maple
#

I will absolutely remember that for my next print!

humble arch
#

this was one I did on my ender 3

#

but before that, my bridging speed was too low, and I got this

raw maple
#

Uh huh?
