#Layer drift
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
The issue was not present earlier tonight. I've been fiddling with start and end gcode but nothing else. Maybe it's a temperature thing? No, that doesn't make sense...
I also did manual bed leveling and mistook the build platform wheels for additional gears to adjust. Is it maybe getting stuck for just a brief moment as a result...? But then why would the first few layers not have the same issue?
The first layer \ z offset is too close...
But this issue isn't related to that.
It looks like it was ok up to a point, then it it appears to underextrude...
Try a 22mm cube and see if it still does the leaning 5hing?
Wondering maybe if the longer retractions are causing the underextrusion.
Adjusted bed level; testing 22mm cube @ 0.4mm retract
stopped it mid-print. now it looks like it's drifting the other way

seems like borderline spaghetti. as a sanity check, I'm gonna use postprocessing to home the Y axis after every layer
????
it's like it's picking a random Y offset every time
also when I tried to put the hotend in the corner and it went to the middle of the left edge. G0 Y220 sent it to around Y110
that's gotta be related
Ah cool. Suspicion confirmed.
Check your bed belt \ y belt. I think it's loose.
If you have v rollers (wheels) as well, they may need the eccentric nut adjusted a little.
It still also goes up and down on z?
Z works fine yeah
