Hello, I'm pretty new to printing. Have a bambu a1 and I'm trying to get a very clean first layer. Before I only used the bambu handy app and now I'm messing with slicer settings to try and improve quality.

I set this logo into a design and you can see how you can see everywhere the printer went. I meant to use monochromatic line here, but forgot to change the setting for bottom surface layer. However, even with that idk if it would be much better.

Any tips on how to get this looking as perfect as possible?

I can provide settings and all if needed

Woahh! Dude that came up pretty good!!

Heres ome other stuff if you want to improve further.
It's really interesting, like your bed has a dip in the middle or the levelling didn't quite catch it. It might as simple as letting your bed sit for 20mins or so while at 60 (for pla) before pressing print. (Heatsoak)
You could also try manual flow and pressure advance calibration for a small change.
I'd also be tempted to try changing the slicing engine from classic to arachne

Peo beds are pretty challenging so this is pretty nice result.bulbasmile

I have another print going now.. but I set the bed on bambu to the correct pei smooth/high temp plate. This print I had on the textured print one

Oh uh no i mean this:
When the bed heats up and sits it does this. (Aluminuim metal underneath the plate)

I've been able to get more consistant flat prints on my peo's with doing it.

Sweet so let the bed sit at 60C for 20 minutes before printing?

Yeah 15 to 20 ! I was suprised it made a difference to mine. 😅 But it did!
Do a first just 1 - 2 layers of the same size to test and you should see it changing!

Oh uh you can right clikc and add like primitive cube in the slicer, then you just scale it so it's 0.2mm or 0.4mm and thats one or two layers 🙂
