The stuff im using has a glass trans temp of 140C, if it fails it fails, its a car and ill still be able to break to a stop. Im expirementing if its possible, and its the highest temp filament i could find that was not PEEK. Although why would they ever put a 3d printed part on an airplane, that a recipe for disaster lol
The stuff im using needs 280C, 110C bed, and a 70C heated chamber just to print lol
highest i can remember is TPI, 420 nozzle 180 bed 
dont think many printers can run it

Im torturing my poor ender 3 s1 thats not even supposed to be in a heated chamber
on the bright side the hotend is rated for it and im using hardened nozzles
Rip stepper motors tho they are def degrading lol
all metal heatbreak check as well?
Had to reprint my y axis mount with PC as i melted the abs one lol
Yep, Ive got the sprite full metal and metal gear hotend
good, some think they can print the hot ones without it, PTFE melts way lower then they think
or just dont know about it

I upgrade the nozzle because it was brass, and its got full metal and ready to rock stock other then nozzle
im using a 200Watt 120v PTC heater to get the chamber as hot as i possible can
I also have a intercooler to bring down the IAT, at most it should see is 180f
which is 82C
I looked at metal sintering, buttt i got quoted 10k... So this is worth a shot haha
Im not sure if it can be milled, the inner cavity has some odd geometry. Mabye a 5 axis cnc might have a shot
but it def would also have to be in two parts for the insides, I have to anyways on my machine so i designed the sides to have bolts and planning on using polyurethane, or high temp epoxy to join and act as a gasket

Oh now that’s cool. I always love to see car parts. I’d love to do an intake for my truck but the exhaust is too close to the intake
You could design a heatsheild of metal between them
Also update, several days and lets call it "Spirited driving" its been holding up very well. I have had 0 issues with it
I have not boosted the engine yet.. but soon we shall see
