So I was printing this lamp and I noticed on the print there was a layer which had a band like consistency, like someone had stacked a bunch of rubber bands on it (hard to explain but I will include pictures). Is there a way I can fix this? It's definitely not meant to come out this way

It sounds like you might be experiencing a z-axis banding issue, which can be caused by various factors such as improper belt tension, loose pulleys, or even inconsistent extrusion. I recommend checking your printer's mechanical components first to ensure everything is secure and properly calibrated. Additionally, adjusting your printing speed, layer height, or temperature settings can also help alleviate this issue. Feel free to share the pictures for a more accurate diagnosis.
