Thought the white stuff was the filament. No open flame if it has a PTFE liner.

Honestly, I would toss the break and get a decent all metal one. Should be able to remove the break with pliers if it's jammed in there, but it will destroy it.

Trianglab V6 is a decent cheap all metal V6 if you are on a budget.
