Hi,

I have been using this printer (Creality K2 Plus) for a short time now but no matter what filament i use it seems to do this on the bottom layer, it feels as if there are grooves running through the bottom layer, as soon as it gets up 3,4 layers you dont feel it anymore but you can still see the blemishes on the bottom when the print is done. Can someone please tell me whats going on causse my newbie knowledge about these machines only stretches so far. dont know if it matters but i use orcaslicer.

Thanks in advance!

It sounds like you might be experiencing issues with your first layer adhesion. Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot and fix the issue:

  1. Check your printer's bed leveling to ensure it is properly leveled.
  2. Adjust your nozzle height to ensure it is at the correct distance from the bed.
  3. Clean the printer bed surface with isopropyl alcohol to remove any debris or residue.
  4. Increase the first layer bed temperature to improve adhesion.
  5. Slow down the first layer print speed in your slicer settings.
  6. Make sure the filament is flowing smoothly and there are no clogs in the nozzle.

If these steps do not solve the issue, it may be helpful to contact the manufacturer for further assistance.

Yeah different brands can act differently especially with the "altered" materials like PLA+ and silk. Different additives let the plastic behave slightly different
