AI Help

There are companies that specialize in producing high-quality 3D printing components, such as trapezoidal screws with specific dimensions. Some well-known manufacturers include Misumi, Igus, and THK. These companies offer a range of precision motion components that can be used in 3D printers. You may want to explore their catalogs or contact them directly to find the exact part you are looking for.

in response to the AI. The smallest nominal size for Misumi is 8mm; too large. Igus has M5 for metric, but not trapezoidal. THK appears to make nuts for trapezoidal, but only ballscrew rods, unless I am mistaken. Their sites a bit odd.

Try asking in #reprap-and-custombuilds but its probably going to be components for machining. Try looking up reputable lathe and mill lead screws

the guys in the custom builds chat will know

I did look around machining stuff a bit, it just seems M5 is a bit small for that sort of application generally.

#

Appreciate the response though. I'll re-post to #reprap-and-custombuilds
