#Help with my stl file

To make your model thicker without changing the geometry, you can use the "Scale" function in your 3D modeling software. Select the entire model and uniformly scale it up in the Z-axis by the desired amount (in this case, 0.4mm). This will increase the thickness while maintaining the original shape of your decks. If you need more assistance with a specific software, feel free to ask!
In the slicer turn off uniform scaling and scale it in the appropriate direction until its as thick as you like
@inner monolith would that be a good way to make sure geometry of my deck doesnt change such as angle of kicks or concave ?
also what would be a good way to change length of deck from lets say 100mm to 96mm without messing up said geometry
If you only alter thickness it should stay the same, lenght would involve stuff like cutting out the middle section of the board, stretching it and reattaching it (if you want to avoid remodeling)
Where would scale option be here ? this is a bit convoluted for me right now
Slicers
Most Common:
- Cura [FDM]
- PrusaSlicer [FDM / Resin for Prusa printers only]
- Bambu Studio [FDM]
- SuperSlicer [FDM]
- OrcaSlicer (github) [FDM]
Less Common:
- Kiri:Moto [FDM/Resin/Laser/CNC]
- Ideamaker [FDM]
- MatterControl [FDM]
- UV Tools [Resin] (Can convert PrusaSlicer files to use on other brands)
- KISS [FDM] 💵 or free tier
- Simplify3D [FDM] 💵 (always-online)
- Formware [Resin] 💵
- Lychee Slicer [Resin, FDM] 💵 or ad-supported
- Chitubox 💵 or free tier
- Photon Workshop [Anycubic printers only] (downloaded from the product page)
Older Slicers:
- Slic3r [FDM]
- Repetier-Host [FDM]
Wtf is that program?
3d slicer is there a different one ?
Look above
Ok so i tried with Cura, here are the screenshots i tried to untick uniform scaling but it absolutely messes up the geometry of nose and tail of the board as well as concave
here is default look
and here is when i try to make deck a bit thicker with "uniform scaling" unticked, it just messes up the geometry instead of making deck thicker
and that is the problem i have idk how to go about it really
