I can help with that. Can you please provide more details about the error message you are getting and what you were doing when it occurred?
hi
big one im seeing is extruder: target=0 temp=-51.3 pwm=0.000
extruder thermistor issue
what can ido then?
Looking....
where?
Paste the Moonraker logs as well
on the exturder?
What?
Oh, sorry, didn't see the other response.
that being negative points to the thermistor is unplugged or broken
Nah that's fine. He just restarted the printer.
not that that fixes the MCU
Its gonna have a temp set to 0, but nozzle may be cooling down.
?
dont think a cooling nozzle is gonna hit -53C
so is the themistor?
thats the error in the log, extruder thermistor is bad
got it broken thermistor
Oh, yeah, you're right.
I didn't see the negative.
Line 11478:
MCU 'mcu' shutdown: ADC out of range
Yep, broken thermistor.
Good news is: thermistors are cheap.
Good catch, @ripe ridge
yeah, the negative is hard to catch, ADC is klipper throwing thermal error, so i knew to look
I had checked the sensor values, just didn't catch the negative.
Which reminds me, it's about time for my annual eye exam... Probably gonna be looking to get glasses this time around.
what about the no screen on the printer?
Klipper is what is generating the ui
And it is crashing
No Klipper, no screen.
At least, I believe that's the case... But now I'm second guessing myself.
@ripe ridge am I mistaken?
Did a quick Google, my initial thought seems to be correct.
Careful with it
They are very fragile
The inside of those tubes contains a glass-like material.
just making sure the problem is 100 in the extruder?
klipper is known to not have support for some screens(including mine), this one seems like it should be fine, and config does have the dilsplay section, so its trying to display on the screen, though there are no logs around screens to my knowledge
Yeah, it is.
NICE
I wasn't aware that Klipper doesn't have support for some screens? Which printer/screen are you using?
Well it's not the extruder actually.
It's the hotend assembly
3v2 and sv06+, if it has colors or touchscreen the likelyhood of it working goes down
Really? Pretty sure I was running Klipper for UI on my K1
I'm not doubting you, I'm actually more doubting my memory.
