I'm running a prusa mk3s with octoprint and orcaslicer. The slicer preview of my bed is somewhat offset from where the printer physically prints (most noticeably it prints about 5mm to the right of the preview). I'd like to minimise this value, but looking up ways to adjust bed position and similar all just give me results for bed leveling, which is not the issue.
Where and how do I adjust this?

It sounds like you may need to recalibrate your printer's X or Y axis offset. This can usually be adjusted in your 3D printer's firmware settings. You'll need to access your printer's firmware settings either through the LCD screen or through the firmware configuration files.
Look for settings related to axis offsets or bed skew correction. You may need to manually adjust the values based on your observations to align the actual print position with the slicer preview.
Refer to your printer's documentation or the manufacturer's support resources for specific guidance on adjusting axis offsets in the firmware.

This maybe? So your X value would be -5. Test it out with a couple lines or square prints that allow you to measure the deviation
Thanks for the response. I've changed that setting but unfortunately my printer is non-functioning right now so it'll take a while before I can test if it worked
