I just now started using PETG.
eSUN PETG which I dried two days ago for 6 hours.

This piece is printing just fine except the top layer.
Archmedean Chord is used as top layer to avoid the seam-line concentric adds but still follow the shape of the object. This is not my biggest concern.
My biggest concern is the uneven finish on the top layer. Is this normal amount of "blemishes" for a not perfectly tuned A1 Mini?

If no, what can I check/change/tune to make this piece look better?

Would just going with monotonic be better to hide some uneven finish on the top layer?

It's not uncommon to experience issues with the top layer finish when using PETG. Uneven or blemished top layers can be caused by factors such as incorrect nozzle to bed distance, improper temperature settings, or insufficient cooling. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try to improve the top layer finish:

  1. Check and adjust the nozzle to bed distance: Ensure that the nozzle is properly leveled and at the correct distance from the bed. This can help improve adhesion and overall print quality.

  2. Adjust temperature settings: Make sure you're printing at the recommended temperature for PETG. Experiment with slight adjustments to the temperature to see if it affects the top layer finish.

  3. Increase cooling: PETG may require less cooling than other filaments, but some cooling can still help with overhangs and top layer finish. Experiment with increasing cooling slightly to see if it makes a difference.

  4. Consider using different top layer patterns: You mentioned using A...
