upon attempting to do e-step again it only extrudes 37mm when given the command to extrude 100.
when i disconnect the bowden tube from the hotend it extrudes closer to 115mm when told to extrude 100.
when increasing heat to 260 the printer extrudes like 70 mm when told to do 100

i also noticed the filament stops moving sometimes when the command to extrude 100mm is given when the bowden tube is attatched to the hotend.

I am using a brand new 0.4 nozzle

It sounds like you may be experiencing some issues with the extruder. Here are a few things you can try to troubleshoot the problem:

  1. Check for any obstructions in the hotend or nozzle that could be causing the inconsistent extrusion.
  2. Make sure your filament is loaded correctly and not tangled or stuck anywhere along the path to the hotend.
  3. Verify that the extruder motor is functioning properly and not skipping steps.
  4. Check the tension of the extruder spring to ensure it is applying enough pressure on the filament.
  5. Consider calibrating the E-steps on your printer to ensure accurate filament extrusion.

If you have tried these steps and are still experiencing issues, you may want to reach out to the manufacturer of your printer for further assistance.
