You got it on the first guess 🙂
I printed him in plain ol' white filament then used a minwax wood stain
I had to let it sit for a good while because the filament doesnt absorb a ton of it. You have to let some of the stain dry on the surface. Then I used a spray on polyeurethane, which helped to not only seal it but also even out the color some
