There are many devices/systems/products that can control heating inside an enclosure, but I have found none that actively cool it down.

Peltier modules kinda suck, are inefficient, and take up a bit of space to work well. Just look at those mini fridges that use them, they barely work, and they probably will also suck for much larger enclosures as well.
Fans are okay but they don't really cool anything down

so those two options wont work.
for context it is around 25C ambient temp, but it can heat up more when printing, albiet not by much as I don't use the bed heater

AI Help

Have you considered using a dedicated cooling system such as a water-cooling loop or a dedicated air conditioner for the enclosure? These systems can actively cool down the temperature inside the enclosure more effectively than Peltier modules or fans. Water-cooling systems can be more efficient in dissipating heat, and air conditioners can maintain a stable temperature inside the enclosure regardless of ambient conditions. Additionally, optimizing the ventilation design of the enclosure can also help in removing excess heat generated during printing.

no AI help, liquid cooling can only cool to room temp. room temp is too high and so it wont work.

🤔 why do you want it below ambient temp?

flat swallow
#

because all my overhangs are sagging from lack of cooling

#

even over infill

#

and i get warping

What material? And why don't you use the bed heater?

#

Have you checked the settings for overhangs? Made sure they have the part cooling fan and speed set correctly?

filament says to not use heater

#

and to instead cool it as much as possible

Is it PLA?

Warping can be a real issue, it can ruin the foundation of the printed part and its dimensional accuracy, leading to a potentially unusable part or a detached print.
Warping happens due to the shrinkage of plastic as it cools.

Here are some easy fixes:

  • Make sure that the buildplate is completely clean, refer to ?bedcleaning
  • Check if your bed is set to the correct temperature.
  • No or minimal part cooling for the first few layers, usually one or two.
  • Using a brim (or raft as a last resort) can ensure better adhesion to the buildplate.
  • Using an adhesive such as gluestick, hairspray or a specialized adhesive can be an easy and safe solution. This depends highly on the used buildplate material.
  • Be careful for ambient temperature changes such as opening doors, windows or the printers enclosure. A gust of cold air can throw off your temperatures enough to cause warping.

its slogan should be "oops all warping"

#

or i am thinking of this wrong

#

basically my problem is that it warps like crazy and no overhangs, not even over infill, print correctly and instead just sag
bed adhesion isn't a problem as when it does stick it sticks so much I can't actually get it off and have to replace the blue tape

I'll rename the title of this post accordingly

PHA how to fix warping and drooping

Ah sorry I have no experience with PHA, so I don't think I can help you, but usually if you want more cooling you either increase the fan percentage on the settings, or in your case since you already have it at 100% and still not enough, you might have to change the part cooling fan to a better one, cooling down the ambient temp is a bit if an unusual method
