I want you to change your retraction settings
4-5mm
And 25mm/s
Run a print
While the prints runs watch the hot end temp
Tell me if it’s stable or not
ok
i will try
i got that thermal runway thing
before even starting (I didn't load the print)
Ok
Let’s fix that
Is there any visible damage to the thermistor?
Have you had any clogs? How olds the printer?
- No visible damage.
- No clogs
- around 2 years old
Your fan works correct
yes
printer is off
Remove the screw holding the thermistor and heat cartridge and re set them
i want to refrain from dissasembly to avoid damage.
sorry.
i will try to re run a print
Well I think all your problems come from either A the thermistor or B the Heat cartridge which are both set under that one screw
Removing that will not cause damage
It’s that little screw right there
yeah
i dont want to open the cover since the last time i did i was going to blow up
This hobby requires tinkering with printers that’s just the name of the game until you start buying bambus etc
I understand if you aren’t comfortable with it but at some point it’s helpful to learn
it's better if i send it to a professional or buy a new printer
no wonder
i bought this for 150$ what the fuck did i expect
i already have
If you’re truly interested in a new printer I’d be happy to help you find one
creator of this post claims it is a "Creality Ender 3 V2 SE"
hmm
there's delta tower
ffs wtf is this
maybe not...
bambu lab is trying to flee from my budget
What are you looking to get out of a printer?
apparently
- Less maitenence, more printing...
- Availibilty
- Enclosed (optional)
- BUDGET!!!!!!!
like come on
these are too expensive
sigh
there's nothing other than creality after that point
and my prints are stopping alfway
i didnt get the runway error thing in the print
but the printer just stops
Ok
Take a look at the elegoo Neptune
Those are commonly what I recommend if you want something like an ender
But also look at the qidi q1
Or if you want to get into the bambu stuff look at an a1
For good or bad?
emphasis on 4
What is your budget?
preferably anything under 500$
Get a Neptune 4 pro or a qidi q1
there's no qidi q1 in my country of residence
anything under 400$ is even better
something tells me get resin
but i keep rejecting
yeah they give cancer i iknow
Or a bambu a1
Not that they’re just a lot of maintenance
no no
no way
i am limited to a certain amount of printers and parts
check the catalogue
forget the sales
like the discounts i mean
Take a look at the Neptune 4 pro
Yes
good
I have the Neptune 4 max they’re all the same they just get larger
Very good bed slinger printer
If you want to fix it I think it’s your thermistor
Which would require you to remove the screw
there isn't any issues with it...
it prints just fine
it just stops mid print
it's actually printed a few layers
a good amount
but never finished the print
No that’s what I’m saying
Due to thermal runaway your printer has failsafes that will stop a print
If something like that occcurs
The fact you’re getting the warning means somethings wrong with either the thermistor or the heat cartridge
the motors keep moving but the filament stops coming out
but even both spools don't print
Then re run a print
but i'll try
Ok
"CHANGING MAGS" ahh moment 💀
ok it unloaded
and when the extruder gear was moving a shit ton of filament came out
@soft isle
Out of the nozzle?
It sounds like it’s clogged man
im purging rn
as much as i can
and its coming out smoothly
ok
donme
changed the filament
Is it working
yes
Your issue is resolved?
So far so good?
Farthest it’s been?
its printed the same amount of layers as last time
Still going?
if it print more then its a new record
mhm
Good
Alrighty
my prints have to be spot on
just a single warp and this issue will be rendered as not solved
the print is so far so good
i can see the intial shape form
plus
for extra measure, im pushing the filament slightly
Don’t do that
just a slight, brief push
no fucking way
no
no
no
bro
its printed almost the entire thing
holy shit
Haha
I’m gonna say that’s my job concluded then
Happy printing!
It’s 4am here so I’m gonna go to bed
holy Lake Chaubunagungamaug
sweet dreams my guy
if i need anything ill contact this again
Sounds good
i won't mark this issue as solved since i am sure that the printer will break once again
also i will refrain from using cura
and switch to orca
thank you all for the support
each and every one of your solutions has made a major impact on my printer
so i thank you all again

Hello
Update: The PLA is coming out black + the PLA filament tube isn’t gripping onto the extruder gear.
