Here is a video of my AMS if it matters I am running a P1S to it.

It was working perfectly well (at least in my opinion) two days ago and now this is what’s happening. I get the spool jumped because it’s low but that has nothing to do with the problem, as it will make the same issues and nosies regardless if its a full spool or not (just won’t do the jump thing that happened on the return )

What happens in the video usually happens, or the reels for the AMS slots dont turn at all but you can hear the motor noise, happening in all four slots.

It’s like the forward motor is getting caught? I did take the AMS apart but noticed nothig obvious but that doesn’t mean much giving troubleshooting isnt my strong suit ans I haven’t been using printers all that long.

I haven’t been doing much multie colored prints where swaps is constantly happening.

Printer works without issue if the filament is in the external slot.

It sounds like there may be an issue with the gears or mechanisms responsible for rotating the reels in your multi-material system (AMS). Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

  1. Check for Obstructions: Open up the AMS again and carefully inspect the gears, motor, and other moving parts for any obstructions or foreign objects that may be causing the reels to get stuck.

  2. Clean and Lubricate: If the gears appear to be clean, try lubricating them with a small amount of machine oil to ensure smooth movement.

  3. Check Motor Connections: Ensure that the motor connections are secure and that there are no loose wires or faulty connections that could be causing the motor to make noises without rotating the reels.

  4. Test Motor Functionality: You can try testing the forward motor independently by applying power directly to it to see if it rotates smoothly.

  5. Contact Manufacturer or Support: If the issue persists, it may be best to reach out to the manufa...
