Hi!
New to 3d print world, but having fun whilst I struggle to make 3d designs on cad.
I try to either design or search for ready models that are practical tome and can be printed in TPU.
That being said, theres probably no reason whilst learning, but I still would like to know if anyone knows of any ready kits or good upgrade parts for N3 Pro please?
My research says that N3 Pro uses same components or similar components as ender 3?
I`ve seen Slice Engineer kit - that is pricy and out of stock most of the time.
Is there anything else out there that any of people of this community would know of, even if it is single pieces that I have to put together myself.
I have no issue re-wiring or re-pinning the plugs if needs to.
I may need a new heater and grubscrews as originals are softer than chocolate and left me with heater grub screw pretty stuck in and ''rounded''. (may rescue it once I get to workshop and blast it with torch)
I am based in UK if that makes any difference.

Hello! Congratulations on entering the world of 3D printing! It's great that you're looking to upgrade your N3 Pro. While the Slice Engineering kit is indeed popular, there are some other options you can consider. Since the N3 Pro shares similarities with the Ender 3, you may find compatible upgrade parts meant for the Ender 3 that could work for your N3 Pro as well.

Some upgrade parts to consider for your N3 Pro:

  1. Upgraded Heater Block and Nozzle: Look for high-quality heater blocks and nozzles that are known for durability.
  2. Upgraded Grub Screws: You can find higher quality grub screws that are less likely to strip when tightening or loosening.
  3. Upgraded Hotend: Consider upgrading to a better quality hotend assembly that can enhance your printing experience.

I recommend searching online marketplaces or forums dedicated to 3D printing for specific recommendations and user experiences with various upgrade parts. Additionally, you may find individual components like heater ca...

Hey mate, welcome to what in my opinion is the most fun hobby out there! Truthfully, im not familiar with the N3 very much at all, but the ender 3 I am. I would say stick to stock for a while, i have a very modded ender 3 pro and yes its fun to tinker and work on it, when your new, you just want to print (im assuming) and with upgrades comes lots and lots of testing and calibrating. Do it little by little if ya want to upgrade but I would say stick to stock unless you have 1 thing in particular that you really want to upgrade for (like a certain material that needs to be printed hotter).

TPU should go stock on your printer fine from what I saw online about it, but for me I do very little TPU so I may not be the best person to say.

If you want to learn a lot about your printer, start by doing all the calibration tests you possibly can, then you learn where your printer may struggle. What I did was convert my ender 3 to run klipper off a rasperry pi, it has a STEEP learning curve but it is extremely well documented and has a ton of benefits. Ill link to ellis tuning guide, and id suggest doing some of the calibrations and just reading to learn: https://ellis3dp.com/Print-Tuning-Guide/articles/index_tuning.html

I dont mean to discourage you from upgrading, every printer can benefit from an upgrade wether its a used $100 ender on craigslist or a brand new 2k bambu labs. Rather just trying to say upgrade for what you want, when you need it instead of someone elses "perfect" upgrade kit of that printer.

Really appreciate your input and link to guide, I shall look at it>
The upgrade I am mainly after is the hotend, as in better quality and if I get it to speed up the prints - even better. Larger TPU print after slicing is 11h and that just puts me off, do not want to leave printer unattended - 30mm/s isnt particularly fast. If there is anyone familiar with Neptunes - are the Neptune 4 heatsinks and hotends compatable with Neptune 3? Like they arent complex machines and with bit of time I can DIY everything, but I much rather pay somone whos done their R&D and made ready kit to just P&P
