#Resuming failed print

Hey fam,

Was printing this on an Ender 3 pro with what I assume is stock firmware.

Thought I had enough clearance on the Z stabiliser for this print to finish but obviously not.

There was no error on the screen as attached, am I right in assuming the coordinate that it was locked to is where the print failed and can edit the g code to start from this position?

If not what would be my next best step? Hopefully not a 4d print down the drain.

I'm guessing I'll need to take the stabiliser off to finish the print if I can resume it successfully.

Thanks in advance.

It seems like your print failed due to a Z-axis shift. You can try to resume the print from where it left off by editing the G-code. Look for the last successful layer in the G-code and make sure the new code starts from that point.

If the print is salvageable, you may need to remove the Z stabilizer to allow the print to continue without interference. Remember to recalibrate and re-level your bed before resuming the print to ensure a successful outcome.

Good luck with salvaging your print! Let me know if you need further assistance.

You might be able to resume by editing the gcode IF the XY hasn't moved, Z is usually locked enough to not move

another way would be to reslice to cut the printed part, and glue the rest
