#CR-10 doesn't know how to home

I bought a very cheap "as-is" CR-10 and when trying to print with it, I'm having a weird issue. I can manually move both directons on all three axes, but when I try to use the autohome feature, the Y axis (bed sliding) is the only one that actually homes, the X axis just moves right a bit, and the Z axis just moves up a bit. See the attached video:

This means that when I tried printing with it, it started halfway across the bed and an inch in the air, not a good way to print. I've checked all cable connections, they are in the right place. I'm not entirely sure what the issue is, but I'd like to fix it.

Based on the video you provided, it seems like there might be an issue with the endstop sensors or the wiring connected to them. The fact that the Y axis homes correctly while the X and Z axes only move partially indicates that there may be a problem with the endstop signal not being received properly.

Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

  1. Check the wiring of the endstop switches for the X and Z axes. Make sure they are securely connected to the controller board and that there are no loose or damaged wires.
  2. Manually trigger the endstop switches for the X and Z axes to see if they are registering correctly. You can do this by gently pressing the endstop switch while moving the axis manually to see if it stops when it should.
  3. Check the endstop configuration in your printer's firmware settings to ensure they are correctly set up for the X and Z axes.

If you are still experiencing issues after checking these steps, it might be helpful to consult the CR-10 user man...

Just tried manually hitting the limit switches for X and Z axes while moving left and neither stopped. The connections on the sensor side look fine, I'll try to figure out how to open the control unit and look at the board

UPDATE: Two limit switches were disconnected from the mainboard, reconnecting them solved the issue
