Please someone help me with my marlin 2.1.1 ,Ender 3 with the 4.27, 32bit silent motherboard and a bl touch and its Z axis offset. It changes again and again and only prints in the air. I cant get it fixed and honestly a vc would be best for my problems because im stupid.

the babystepping mid print doesn’t work because the z axis offset would need to go into the negatives and that doesn’t work for some reason.
Im getting impatient. Angry even.
Id expect the bltouch to do its job but nooo.

I think i need a custom compiled software but im waaayy to stupid for that too.

Did i mention not even ChatGPT could help me?

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing frustrations with your printer. In regards to your Z-axis offset changing and your BLTouch not working properly, it sounds like you may need to recalibrate your Z-offset and check your BLTouch's connections and settings.

To fix your Z-axis offset:

  1. Check and adjust the Z-offset setting in your Marlin firmware. Make sure it's properly configured for your BLTouch setup.
  2. Level your bed and set the nozzle height accordingly with the BLTouch sensor.
  3. Save the settings to ensure they are retained after power cycles.

As for the negative Z-axis offset issue:

  1. In Marlin firmware configuration, ensure that you have enabled negative Z-axis offsets.
  2. Try adjusting the Z-offset in smaller increments to avoid issues with printing in the air.

Regarding the custom compiled software, it may not be necessary at this point. Troubleshooting and adjusting settings within the Marlin firmware should help resolve your issues.
