Hello everyone, I am using the Ultimaker 3 and the overnight print went wrong, there was dry PLA everywhere around the printhead, fan and even under. I managed to clean it all by dismantling it and putting it back. Now the front box with the fan doesn't close correctly and i don't see anything keeping it open. even when i keep it close manually or with a rope, the printer refuses to make the leveling properly. Maybe because of this or something else. Everytime is says "difference between detected height of both printcores exceeds realistic values". However, i tried to change the position of the printcore 2, up or down to see if it was able to do it smoothly without blocking or something and it does perfectly. Please help i have been on that problem for many days now 🙏🏼

It sounds like you have been experiencing quite a frustrating issue with your Ultimaker 3. The "difference between detected height of both printcores exceeds realistic values" error message typically indicates an issue with the calibration process. Since you mentioned that the front box with the fan doesn't close correctly after cleaning, this may be affecting the printer's ability to perform accurate leveling.

Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the problem:

  1. Ensure that the front box and fan are properly reassembled and secured in place. Check for any obstructions or misalignments that may be preventing the box from closing correctly.

  2. Double-check the connection of the print cores and ensure they are properly seated in the printhead. Make sure there are no leftover debris or dried PLA that could affect the calibration process.

  3. Try performing a manual leveling of the print bed to ensure that both print cores are at the correct height relative to each other....

I have no experience with this printer. Try to see if they have their own forum. Or contact the company.
