#Need help with sizing model
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
It sounds like you are looking to resize a 3D model for 3D printing. To determine the percentage size each piece needs to be, you will need to use slicing software like Cura or PrusaSlicer. You can import the model and adjust the scale until it fits your desired dimensions. As for choosing between Craftcloud and JLC3DP, I recommend comparing prices and services offered by both to determine which one is more affordable for your specific project. If you encounter any issues during the printing process, feel free to ask for further assistance.
Easy, each piece the same percentage as long as the parts are made fo fit in the first place. Scaling down is more problematic than sizing up
Yeah that's the problem I run into when I upload the model. When I upload it to craftcloud each piece is scaled up in the thousands. And i worry that if I scale it down one part it gonna be either way to big or way to small
Sounds like a conversion problem, mm to m or so.
got a screenshot of the upload?
