#Bambu Labs A1 not printing past a certain height
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
It appears that the print did not adhere properly to the print bed and shifted during printing. This can happen due to various reasons such as bed leveling issues, improper bed adhesion, or mechanical issues. To troubleshoot, you can try adjusting the bed leveling, ensuring the print bed is clean and using proper adhesive like tape or glue stick. If the issue persists, it might be caused by mechanical problems that need further diagnosis.
It looks like you're damn near the top of the build volume
Did the slicer give any warnings?
it did and I scaled it down and it said it’d be okay. if I have to restart I gotta restart but I wanted to make sure before I waste all this filament lmao
just measured i’m supposed to have another inch of build volume left, im so confused
I think i’m just gonna bite the bullet and reprint
You might need to disable some settings
Like y is it even going to the left like that every layer?
Did u have it paused previously?
yeah
The first time it crashed?
it started happening last night but I was about to go to bed so I just paused it
Ah
I wasn’t there when it started happening my roommate saw it tho but idk how
Yeah idk, prob some setting issue in the slicer
i’m just gonna cut it into more pieces, I need to find a different model anyway because this one has a lot of bad seams
Ah yeah then sure
Ik on the other Bambu printers you need to remove some parts to use the full build volume
Maybe the same thing on the A1?
oh weird. thank you tho i’ll look into that
In the other printers you need to remove the filament cutter to utilize the full hight (also removes the corner you need to avoid when printing)
oh thats so weird what the hell. the model new i have is already cut into pieces that snap together so i dont have to worry about it anymore for this project but i will keep that in mind for the future, thank you!!
Since you technically don’t need it unless u use an ams
