#Can i edit my Z axis offset value from a file somewhere instead of the machine screen instead?

It's great to hear you are using the X MAX-3 and OrcaSlicer for 3D printing. If you have any specific questions or need troubleshooting help with your printing process, feel free to ask!
so basically i could jst put offset to default 0.000 n edit this instead right
yeah, but then it'll only apply to things sliced through orca, so if you generate gcode through some browser thing, or elsewhere, it won't be there
oh ye i always use Orca xd
but tbh i want it to permanently save to the machine
this is the problem
so use the machine's controls to do it? you might be able to change it via g-code on the machine also, not sure how that works on klipper
Sec tryin to get a pic of my main issue
so this -1.130 is the best result i got
did this while printing
so i went to the actual Z offset place
which is this one
but u can see it only has -1.13
whats goin on
any idea
thats wmy issue
? -1.130 is the same as -1.13
n i think cause of that even when i apply -1.13 it dosnt give same result
exactly
butt...
nvm
no buts
ye thats the issue
or...
ah. during a print you babystepped up 0.2, and that works better?
whats that?
oh ye also i dont know what that number is
first it was 0.200
later when i tried it was 0.400
so, during a print, you got to z-offset page and hit up a few times until it looked good?
if I understand that correctly, you just need to move the z-offset on the other page by that much. -1.13 + 0.2 would be -1.11
unless that 0.2 is just showing you the current layer
So i should get the exact amount i need to put
Heres the wierd part
If - its -1.00
Butttt
If + its 1.000
Im super shit at maths n thats confusing af lol
you should have a negative offset
