Hey friends. I have an ender 3 with a ceramic nozzle, sprite extruder, pei bed. I’m printing at 240* nozzle, 90* bed, 100% initial layer, 25mm/s on initial layer and 50 mm/s on other layers. Why is it doing this on the brim. I can’t get past that and then it fails.
#Pro tips on ASA??

It sounds like you may be experiencing adhesion issues with your brim. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
- Ensure that your bed is leveled properly. You may need to adjust the leveling to improve the adhesion of the first layer.
- Clean your print surface with isopropyl alcohol to remove any oils or residues that could affect adhesion.
- Check your extrusion multiplier and flow rate settings to ensure that the first layer is being laid down correctly.
- Try increasing the initial layer bed temperature slightly to improve adhesion.
If these steps do not solve your issue, feel free to provide more information or reach out for further assistance.

You are printing to cold for ASA, I would do 260 nozzle and 100 bed, and also enclosure is almost mandatory
Also looks like either some z offset issues or maybe wet filament?
I'd also clean the plate with dish soap and water just to make sure
Ok. I’ve got an enclosure for sure. This is fresh filament straight from the vacuum sealed bag. It must be heat or something. What’s weird is the outer lines went down really good and didn’t have that weird bulging then when it got to the inner lines it started getting weird
I’ll try this as soon as I get back!
New filament doesn't mean it's dry btw
Dang it lol. I don’t have a dryer but I can put it in the heated enclosure and desiccant.

What if i told you that you already have everything you need to assemble one of the best filament dryers available? Don't believe me? In this video i'll show you how, with a combination of very simple principles, we can all dry filament without an oven for free.
