#Prusa i3 mk3s+ Bear Firmware
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
You can use the regular mk3s+ firmware from the Prusa website for your DIY Prusa i3 MK3S+ Bear printer. The Bear upgrade is mainly a structural upgrade and should not require specific firmware. Make sure to follow the firmware update instructions provided by Prusa for a successful update.
Looks like the ai answered this, happy printing!
Thanks. Did you have any insight other than the AI generated response? In the past I had heard there was specific firmware for BEAR upgrades, but I am not sure if they are still updated or where those would be provided.
Thanks I had already looked over that bear site and found no firmware provided, but that reddit link looks helpful. appreciate it.
Your welcome
Also, there is bear patches you can use to modify Prusa firmware if I’m correct
Looks like the patches are no longer usable, but this github provides v3.14.0 which should be great for now.
