My printer clogged and failed a print shortly after when I tried to unclog it it dug into the failed print and I thought that's not a big issue untill I removed the print and instead of stopping at the heatbed like usual it dug straight into it.

The printer is a qidi 4 plus, I am going to contact support about the issue but wanted to see input from the people here before I sent an email to support.

It sounds like your printer may have a mechanical issue or a sensor problem causing it to behave unexpectedly. It would be best to contact Qidi Tech support as soon as possible for guidance on how to resolve this issue with your Qidi 4 Plus 3D printer. They will be able to provide you with specific troubleshooting steps to fix the problem. In the meantime, ensure that your printer is turned off and not being used to prevent any further damage.

you need to have the buildplate on for it to sense, the probe design will not work without that
