I recently upgraded a Prusa MK2 to a 2.5s and am trying to use an old Rpi 3 to get PrusaLink connected. I'm currently running 3.14.1 hex 8237 firmware with the 0.8.1 PrusaLink version. The pi seems to have completed mounting the image upon first boot based on the LEDs on the pi.

The problem I am running into is that I cannot find the Rpi port setting referenced in the wiki instructions. It ceases to exist within my settings menu in the printer.

Also, I have never received any notification that PrusaLink is starting, nor do I get registered with a visible IP address.

I can't find any forums with past instances of this scenario. I've tried everything except reflashing the printer itself. Anyone that can chime in on this, I would appreciate it.

It sounds like you are facing connectivity issues between your Prusa printer and the Raspberry Pi running PrusaLink. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

  1. Check Connection: Ensure that the Raspberry Pi is connected correctly to your printer and that both devices have power.

  2. Reinstall PrusaLink: Try reinstalling PrusaLink on your Raspberry Pi by creating a new SD card image. Sometimes, the image may not have been installed correctly the first time.

  3. Update Firmware: Check if there is a newer firmware version available for your printer that may address any compatibility issues with PrusaLink.

  4. Check Network Settings: Verify that both your printer and Raspberry Pi are on the same network and subnet to allow communication between the devices.

  5. Reflash Printer Firmware: As a last resort, you may want to consider reflashing the firmware on your printer to ensure that all settings are correct.
