#No adhesion, whatsover

It sounds like you are having issues with bed adhesion for your 3D printing project. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
-
Ensure that your bed is level and properly calibrated. Use a piece of paper to check the distance between the nozzle and the bed at all four corners and in the center of the bed.
-
Clean the bed surface with isopropyl alcohol to remove any residue left from the dish soap.
-
Adjust the bed temperature to be slightly higher (around 70-80°C) for better adhesion, especially if you are using a material that requires higher bed temperatures.
-
Try using a thin layer of glue stick, hairspray, or a specialized 3D printing adhesive like "Magigoo" on the bed surface to help the first layer adhere better.
-
If you are still experiencing adhesion issues, consider using a different type of bed surface or adding a raft or brim to your print to improve adhesion.
If you continue to have trouble, feel free to provide more details, and I'll do my best to ...
First layer temp is uh, 220
@severe gale I request assistance with the g10, it's not G10ing
May you please tell me what magics you have worked on your sheet of G10
How thick is your G10 sheet
1.5 mil

OK so step one is try bumping your bed temp up
from 60?
Sure
If you’re still getting adhesion issues you need to scuff up your plate
I'll use steel wool
Will any PLA residue be left on the plate after repeated prints?
It shouldn’t
FR4 is a fiberglass so it should release anything on it after cooling down below 60C
Alright good, I had issues like that with my PEI sheet
Yeah it’s a fun bonus feature of PEI lol
Ok, so far so good, it has done something and hasn't detached from buildplate
Great with PETG though.....
Haha yeah
Yea it seems the higher temp did it, if not I'll scuff up the plate. Thank you so much! Was getting worried on whether this thing is scrap
Did your Ender 3 not have garolite on the backside of its build plate?
No curling with 50% fan
Or is that only on older E3s
Hey glad it worked out friend ^^
No, I made the silly decision of using PETG on a flexible glass plate
Oh nooooo
