#The layers of the prints come out horrible

It sounds like you may be experiencing issues with over-extrusion. The protruding spots and walls that don't join could be caused by too much material being extruded. You can try reducing your flow rate between 90-95% to see if that helps with the issue. Additionally, make sure your nozzle is clean and consider calibrating your extruder steps/mm. It's also a good idea to check your retraction settings to prevent oozing.
Pretty new to 3d printing, but I had some similar problems when my Z offset was incorrect. Also, have you dried your filament?
it's also worth checking every nut and bolt for tightness, and to tighten all the belts
I tend to print hotter than normal too, on my ender 5 plus
what temp and material are you printing
You probably have set your seam position to "random" in your slicer
using cura 5.9?
either that or you are running octopi(which might not be your case being a beginner) and the data flow from the pi to the printer is too slow so the printer has sudden stops trying to make complex movements like circles(totally did not happen to me)

I have used that a lot when I first got into 3d printing
also, is your filament dry?
Who would do such a thing ? 🥲 ||totally not me too||
internal network connection is very fast, even over Wi-fi. I have been using a raspberry pi with Octopi installed and my wireless AP (access point) is like 150 feet away, on a floor above me as my printer and octopi is in my basement, and have never had this issue
not to mention if you wanted, you could log into the web gui of the access point and set the QoS (Quality of Service) to prioritize the network traffic from/to the IP that is the octopi/octoprint
Doesn't matter if your usb cable is shit, you forgot to tape down the 5V pin or your printers MCU gets overloaded. WiFi speed is not the issue usually
