AI Help

When the filament gets stuck during feeding, it could be due to a clog in the nozzle or a problem with the feeding mechanism.

Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

  1. Check if there are any visible filament jams in the feeding tube or extruder.
  2. Heat up the hot end to the recommended temperature and try manually feeding filament through the extruder.
  3. If the filament is still stuck, you may need to remove the nozzle and clean it using a nozzle cleaning kit or a small drill bit.
  4. Check the tension of the filament in the feeding mechanism, it may be too tight or too loose.
  5. Make sure the filament is loaded correctly and that there are no tangles or knots in the spool.

If the issue persists, you may need to contact the manufacturer for further assistance.

Got it fixed in the end. What I did was manually extruded all the left filament out. I suppose I could have prevented this by having extra filament to fill into the same slot when I run out of it. But I didn't so here we are.

Didn't have to assemble any parts in the end.
