got new filament today, fresh out of the box, and all the temperatures look terrible. the flat side on the back looks great on all temps but the overhangs and bridges look bad on all

filament is creality ender pla from amazon
printer is an ender 3 v3 se with a pi running octoprint

temp tower was created using orcaslicer too

AI Help

It sounds like you may be experiencing issues with printing settings rather than the filament itself. Make sure your printer settings are optimized for PLA filament, including the correct printing temperature (around 200-220°C) and cooling settings for overhangs and bridges. It's also important to check your slicer software settings to ensure proper printing parameters. If the issue persists, consider fine-tuning your printer's retraction settings and overall calibration. If you need further assistance, feel free to ask!

reopening with more info, I haven't really changed the settings since using them on other pla and worked fine, aside from setting the min and max fan speed to 0

I would do a flow test first. It looks off.

#

Also, no fan? Why?

haven't needed the fan for regular pla in the past so i disabled it

#

will do a flow test and reset the fan settings

Well. The temperature tower tests bridges and overhangs. So a fan is adviced.
