#Help getting a smoother surface for a thin model

Hello, I'm trying to make some cutters for my sister who makes ear rings out of polymer clay. They turn out pretty good but I'm wondering if its possible to make the cutting surface smoother? It kinda came out a bit uneven and there are little blobs. I'm using an ender 3 V2 (pretty much stock)

It's great that you're looking to improve the cutting surface of the earrings for your sister. To make the cutting surface smoother, you may want to adjust the printing settings on your Ender 3 V2. You can try reducing the layer height and increasing the printing speed for finer details. Additionally, ensuring that the 3D printer is properly calibrated and leveled can also help in achieving a smoother surface. If the blobs persist, you may need to check for any extrusion issues or try adjusting the retraction settings in your slicer software. Experimenting with different filament types and brands can also make a difference in achieving a smoother finish.

Does increasing the print speed really increase quality? I would have thought the opposite

Are the walls thick enough for ur 0.4 nozzle?

Simply making sure the walls of your print are about the width of the nozzle (0.04) could help with quality.

Increasing speed for simple rectangular prints seems to also increase flow. In my case it was helping...
But In reality, it was really incorrect z offset, pressure advance, and flow that needed calibration... 😅
Oh and i'd worn my nozzle out with glow in the dark... 😅

I will check/try some of these suggestions and report back 😁 thanks!

This is probably a dumb question, but when you say the wall thickness? Which setting specifically? this is what I have
