#Print settings?

It sounds like you may be facing a clog in your hotend or a problem with your nozzle. You can try cleaning the nozzle with a cold pull or nozzle cleaning kit, checking for any obstructions in the hotend, and ensuring that the extruder gear is gripping the filament properly. Additionally, you may want to check that your filament is loaded correctly and that the extruder motor is functioning properly. If the issue persists, you may need to further troubleshoot or potentially replace the hotend or nozzle.
It’s not clogged filament comes out when I manually do it or send a command it just doesn’t when it’s starting the Gcode
Does it do it eventually if you let it run?
Also 2 mm retraction on a direct extruder? What are you using?
And that picture look like the nozzle is too close
show your start gcode
No
hmm.. not the issue.
The bed is level the nozzle isn’t too close either
it just doesn't extrude when slicer gcode?
Correct
hmm slicer settings, that woud be a pain to troubleshoot
This is my first time trying to print in this printer, I built it completely custom.
can you connect the printer to a pc via usb to send a G1 E50 command?
Is that the extruding command?
The G0 and G1 commands add a linear move to the queue to be performed after all previous moves are completed. These commands yield control back to the command parser as soon as the move is queued, but they may delay the command parser while awaiting a slot in the queue.
yep
Yes
Yeah I did 100 and it it did it fine
Humor me, start a print and move the nozzle up a bit
The last print I did the nozzle wasn’t touching the bed
Or the bed down however this works
I’ll try again
What hotend? Does the extruder motor click when it tries to extrude?
No clicking, cyclops e3d
Oh, and have you calibrated Esteps?
No lmao I forgot
Do that
lol bet thank you
Also thats a 2 in 1 out hotend?
Yes
(imagine it still has the same issue after doing that)
Only using one filament at the moment tho
You got filament in both?
One
Because I can imagine the molten plastic backing up through the second channel 🤔 no experience with these though
I’ll look into it I’ll let you know after I calibrate e stepper
