#Elegoo Neptune 3 Pro - bad bed adhesion

Printer is supposed to have auto leveling, but I suspect it either doesn't save or doesn't load the mesh. I tried putting M501 in the start Gcode, which just crashed the nozzle into the bed.

It sounds like there may be an issue with the auto bed leveling feature on your printer. Make sure the firmware supports this feature and is correctly configured. Try resetting the printer and re-running the bed leveling procedure. I would recommend reaching out to the manufacturer or an experienced technician for further troubleshooting.

You need to issue M420 S1 after homing

for Klipper, it has to be enabled with a [bed_mesh] and a [probe] section, the use BED_MESH_CALIBRATE.
for Marlin, it must be compiled in with probe support, and issue G29, then M420 S1

M501 loads the last bed mesh (if it was saved in the first place) but doesn't activate it which is what M420 does
