Hey so I got my Bambu p1s over Christmas and it works great but the infill seems to string and what not on parts where walls are not even suppose to be, it was fine until it lead to it making the nozzle break real infill walls, not sure why this is happening on the newer version of my model every print it also leaves a weird finish on the outside but on the old model it does not.

I’m using the Bambu slicers, my settings I’m using are

All default besides, layer height .08, infill adaptive cubic, 5% infill, supports on with branches, top z height of .16, and I have a variable layer height on.

If anyone can help that’d be amazing! I can’t find the solution anywhere.

It sounds like you may be experiencing issues with your slicer settings. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:

  1. Verify that your filament diameter and nozzle size are set correctly in the slicer software.
  2. Check your retraction settings - adjusting the retraction distance and speed can help reduce stringing.
  3. Increase the infill density percentage from 5% to see if that helps with the infill issues.
  4. Experiment with different infill patterns to see if a different pattern reduces the stringing.
  5. Make sure your printer's firmware is up to date.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, you may want to reach out to the Bambu manufacturer or online forums for further assistance.

Currently testing rotating the model it seems that the infill thing was fixed by turning off the retraction but the defect on the outside still exists and im trying to figure out why its there in the first place
