#Elegoo Printer not reading USB

Hi All! I bought a new Elegoo Saturn S direct from the supplier like 2 years ago. It worked at first for a couple of prints and then I didn't use it for about a year. When I next tried to use it it wouldn't read the files on the USB Stick anymore saying they were the wrong format (but they weren't) - after getting frustrated with it I abandoned trying. A year later I've tried again yesterday and spent some more time trying to resolve the issue.

I tried a different USB Stick with lower storage, reformatting it to FAT32 . When I first plugged it in the print screen showed the file there but then it quickly vanished and now I can't get it to even show files anymore.

I use Chiubox to prepare the files.

Any ideas? xD

It sounds like you may be experiencing some connectivity issues with your Elegoo Saturn S and the USB sticks. Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:

  1. Ensure that the USB stick is properly formatted to FAT32, as you mentioned. It's important to use a high-quality USB stick as well.

  2. Check if there are any firmware updates available for your Elegoo Saturn S. Updating the firmware may help with file recognition issues.

  3. Try using a different slicer software to prepare your 3D printing files. Sometimes, compatibility issues can arise with certain slicer software programs.

  4. Check the USB port on your Elegoo Saturn S for any signs of damage or debris that may be hindering a solid connection.

  5. If none of the above steps work, consider reaching out to Elegoo's customer support for further assistance. They may have specific troubleshooting steps tailored to your printer model.

I hope these suggestions help resolve the issue you're experiencing with file recognition...
