Seems like it isn't loading the bed level data. Tried putting the M501 command into the start Gcode, just made it ram the printhead into the bed. Please help me!

It sounds like you may be having trouble with the bed leveling process on your 3D printer. I recommend checking your printer's documentation for the correct method to load bed level data. It's important to ensure the printer is properly leveled before starting a print to avoid any collisions. If you continue to experience issues, consider reaching out to the manufacturer for specific troubleshooting steps tailored to your printer model.

But it didn't like M501, at least in this form

My printer didn't like one custom command

which?

Who says it'll be fine with 20 of them?

send your current start code

# echo wolf which?

M501 made it ram the printhead into the bed (thank goodness I managed to cut the power in time or else the steppers would be fried!)

This is with M501

echo wolf
#

are you running bed mesh manually

#

if its not run that might be why it crashed

ornate canyon
#

It has auto bed leveling if that's what you need

#

Also, here's a possible cause of this: the data isn't saved so the mesh is 0 everywhere which makes it send the nozzle to my Z offset wwhich is negative

#

Maybe I should try to do the auto leveling in the start Gcode and make sure the data is saved?

echo wolf
#

just try the gcode i sent for start and end and see what happens, its designed for your printer so it should work

Hmmm

Sussi but worth a try
