I just got an Anycubic kobra 2 neo for Christmas and everything was great about it until yesterday. My filament is suddenly oozing out of the nozzle and I'm not sure why. This is causing bad prints and supports. I know that the temperature is right for the nozzle which is 200° and thats the lowest temp I can do according to the filament spool. Is there something else that could be doing this?

Filament oozing can be caused by a few different factors. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:
- Check the retraction settings in your slicer software. Increasing the retraction distance and speed can help reduce oozing.
- Make sure the hotend is properly tightened. Sometimes a loose hotend can cause filament to ooze out.
- Check for any clogs in the hotend or extruder. A partial clog can cause pressure to build up and filament to ooze out.
- If you're using a Bowden tube setup, make sure it is properly installed and not causing extra pressure on the filament.
- Verify that the filament is not tangled or stuck on the spool, which could cause inconsistent extrusion.
By checking these factors, you may be able to identify the source of the oozing and improve your print quality.

what slicer are you using
Cura
if the nozzle sits does it bubble at all
I didn't hear any bubble noises and it seems to come out in a continuous flow
Would you like me to show a video of it doing an extrusion?
Chuck shows you how to Calibrate Perfect Retraction Settings Using a Cura 4.8 Plug-in. He shows you the plug-in, how to install it, how to use it, and how to get the results you want. He even learned his profile settings may need an adjustment. See how to do it in this week's Filament Friday.

try doing a retraction test
if you can record it heated up with plastic just sitting, how it oozes, dont really need to see it extruding
Yeah I'll see if I can get it to do that again
Excuse the sniffles I'm currently sick 🙂
yea there might be a bit of moisture in it, drying helps, you can fight it with retraction to an extent
for drying you need either a food dehydrator or a dedicated filament drier, food dehydrators are usually cheaper, filament driers... some are good some are crap, the super cheap one from sunlu apparently super sucks
food dehydrators are the 30-50 $ range driers are more around 50-100 range
I do have a filament drier from Anycubic as well but the thing is I dehydrated the white filament last night
oh... hm
I dehydrated for 8 hours I think
ok ok... yea run this
Oh the test thingy you sent?
the video watch and do
Should I do the temp tower first? And do I disable supports?
Wait I'm an idiot nvm
Should be done in an hour
Okay I can't even do the dumb tower because the PLA oozed on top of the project. When the nozzle went to 220 it took the whole base of the project with it
Alright I set my dehydrator to dry my filament for ten hours and I will try this tomorrow
did you do the retraction test or just temp tower
just temp
do the retraction test, thats what will help the stringing
